As CRITICALSTART’s director of professional services, Quentin leads the offensive and defensive teams known as TEAMARES. He is an experienced security professional with expertise in security analysis, physical security, risk assessment, and penetration testing. Quentin’s diverse background is built from a variety of staff and leadership positions in IT, with specific experience in threat and vulnerability management, penetration testing, network operations, process improvement, standards development and interoperability testing.

As TEAMARES’ Offensive Security Team Lead, Cory brings an extensive background in penetration testing, incident response, digital forensics, and threat intel. While he is a well-rounded penetration tester, his specialties lie in network, embedded, and adversarial simulation engagements. He is an active member in the local DFW InfoSec community and frequently engages with local college cybersecurity departments.

As a Senior Adversarial Engineer on TEAMARES, Charles brings numerous years of experience in both offensive and defensive security. He is an expert in both network and web application penetration testing, as well as reverse engineering and binary analysis. He is an active member of the local security community, and often speaks at cybersecurity meet-ups.

Sam brings diverse penetration testing and extensive industry experience to TEAMARES. He has assisted clients in securing IT infrastructure in financial, commercial, communications, mining and government institutions through adversary emulation. Through his work, Sam has helped expose vulnerabilities in a plethora of diverse technologies and networks. Over the years he has developed and presented several training courses around the world to a wide range of audiences, including IT professionals, military and intelligence agencies in everything from active defence to cyber warfare. He has managed and mentored teams of information security consultants and advised C-level executives on security issues.
